Frozen alcoholic treats have become all the rage up and down the Las Vegas Strip this Summer, but the Cosmopolitan has taken the concept just a notch higher.

While many of the Strip's hottest party pools are serving SnöBar alcohol-infused ice pops and icecreams, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas took the further step of actually creating a whole Ice Cream Parlor/Lounge alongside their Boulevard Pool:

With walls by local artist Jerry Misko and design by myface of Portugal, the Neopolitan feels like a taste of modernist Miami in the sky, but the art isn't only on the walls. The menu, created by Cosmopolitan mixologist Mariena Mercer, offers ice cream sundaes made with SnöBar's ice creams (Brandy Alexander is my favorite of those), milk shakes with Makers Mark 46, Hangar One Orange Blossom and Tequila Rose, housemade popsicles and sorbets frozen to order using liquid nitrogen.

KJ Zenzola was nice enough to sample us on a whole lot of the Neo's refreshing and intoxicating treats, all of which are a lot of fun--but my favorite was definitely "Black and Tan This," a nitrogen sorbet of Bass ale and Guinness Stout topped with sea salted caramel drizzle, chocolate shavings and pretzel bits, crunchy and cold with a serious bite.
